My wildlife image Guardian of the Canopy received international recognition in the Animal category of the 2025 Global Photography Awards hosted by 500px.
The image also contributed to me being named Popular Photographer of the Year on 500px, highlighting the strong engagement and appreciation the photograph received from the global photography community.
The photograph was captured in Sri Lanka's Sinharaja Rainforest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its extraordinary biodiversity.
